We are the proud second owners of 11842 Driftwood Road. When looking at this house for the first time 14 years ago, we loved the cul-de-dac location, private wooded lot, proximity to Bryant Lake Park and the regional trail system. When entering the house the first time, we quickly fell in love when we looked out the back windows to discover a beautiful pond. This pond would later be the place we take our kids out in the canoe and ice skate in the winter. We dreamed of all the ways we could renovate the house and make it our own. Over the last 14 years, these dreams were made a reality. Every part of the house was updated/renovated professionally as we started our family. After having children, we loved our home and neighborhood even more. We had plenty of space for the kids to spread out to play; it is great for entertaining (indoors and out) and is in a close-knit neighborhood with wonderful people that take great pride in their homes. Annual Easter Egg Hunts at Carmel Park, the neighborhood Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Morning, and the Ladies’ Book Club are just a few reasons this neighborhood is so special. The dead-end neighborhood that ends at Carmel Park has allowed a safe place for our kids to run around and ride bikes with the many kids in the neighborhood. This has been a home of wonderful memories and “firsts.” Our favorite things about this house are the spacious finished basement, the amazing deck in summertime, and mostly recently, the luxurious Master Bath Suite.
