When moving back to the Twin Cities last year after living away for the last 11 years, I knew that I wanted to live in Southwest Minneapolis which had been my home for 10 years prior to leaving this great state. I found 4448 Xerxes Ave S after looking at many different options in the area at both higher and lower price points. This home has been everything I had hoped it would be. The location in Linden Hills is incredible, just steps to my favorite spots including Lake Harriet, Turtle Bread Bakery, Broder’s Pasta Bar, 50th & France, Uptown, and Naviya’s Thai Restaurant (so good!) to name just a few. This house has been my oasis after a long day at work. It is roomy, quiet, and simply beautiful. I have found that my favorite exercise in the evening is turning pages to an enjoyable book in front of the fireplace — the home is so quiet due to the new windows and siding. Living on Xerxes gives me quick, easy access to the Lakes and Uptown, and my neighbors are wonderful! I hate to leave 4448 Xerxes Ave S and the Linden Hills neighborhood but know that someone new will appreciate all that it has to offer.
