The Prospect Knolls Neighborhood of Edina is a delightful area wedged between two magnificent parks, Braemar Golf Course & Park, and Lewis Ridge Park. Most of the neighborhood is laid out on hilly streets sloping up towards 70th street, hence the “Knolls” in the name. And, in fact, the top of Claredon Dr is actually the top of “Dewey Hill,” the namesake for the Dewey Hill Neighborhood just to the south. As with most of the areas around Braemar Golf course, Prospect Knolls was developed in the 1970’s and 80’s, with most being one and two story homes, along with some splits. Once you get out of the “foothills” just above Dewey Hill Rd, you’ll find some very nice high-end luxury homes on Dublin Circle, some reaching over $2,000,000. Finally, Lewis Ridge Park is filled with soccer fields, hockey rink, tennis courts, and excellent walking trails, and serves as the main neighborhood attraction and recreation spot.
