Welcome to Bredesen Park

The Bredesen Park Neighborhood of Edina is located just off Nine Mile Creek and centered on its namesake, Bredesen Park, a beautiful wildlife and nature area with trails, paved bike paths, ponds, and forest. On the north side of Bredesen Park, you will also find Walnut Ridge Park, complete with hockey rinks, trails, and playground, also adjacent to the upper bracket and established Parkwood Knolls Neighborhood. Bredesen Park is partially bounded by the meandering Olinger Blvd, which has dedicated bike lanes, and access to the Nine Mile Creek Regional Trail. Bredesen Park has a variety of homes, from splits, including 3- and 4-level splits, to ramblers, to traditional two story homes. Much of the neighborhood was developed in the late 1960’s and 70’s. In addition to single family homes, you will also find several complexes of condos and townhomes. Nature abounds in the Bredesen Park area due to the wonderful namesake park, in near pristine form from its original state.
