The Cahill Neighborhood of Edina includes a large industrial park, with local retail strips located nearby at 77th & Industrial Blvd, and a multi-family residential corridor on the west side of Cahill Rd. The residential portion of Cahill runs along Lewis Ridge Park (hockey rink, walking trails, soccer fields, tennis courts, and playgrounds) and borders on both the Dewey Hill Neighborhood and the Prospect Knolls Neighborhood.. There are many good residential housing options to choose from along the Cahill corridor, including (from north to south) Highpointe Townhomes, Highlander Townhomes, Village West Townhomes, Lewis Ridge Townhomes & Condos, Chataignier Condos, Dewey Hill Condos, Cahill of Edina Townhomes, and Pondwood Townhomes. All of these multi-family associations have different price points, amenities, and rules. Many of them are quite affordable for someone trading out of their Edina single family home that’s looking to downsize both their physical space and price point. There are dedicated bike lanes on both side of Cahill Rd, with easy access over the 494 bridge to even more trails at Hyland Reserve Park in Bloomington. Walking along the corridor, and into the paved trails of Lewis Ridge Park, is very enjoyable, with neighborhood-serving retail at 70th & Cahill just a short walk from most units.
