Brookview Heights

Great neighborhood just west of highway 100.

Welcome to Brookview Heights

Brookview Heights is a great neighborhood just west of highway 100, bounded by Minnehaha Creek on the southern portion, and 66th street on the north. As with the Heights Neighborhood and Normandale Park, it was built up mainly during the 1950-1970’s, and there are still many entry-level homes available in the $225,000-$350,000 range. Yet, as in many areas of Edina, you will also find new construction homes in the $800,000 and above range. As its namesake suggests, the greatest natural resource available to the neighborhood is Nine Mile Creek, although paved walking and biking access to the Creek has always been modest. Three Rivers Park recently built the Nine Mile Creek Trail, which gives Brookview neighbors significant walking and biking access to the delightful areas along the Creek, and to the hundreds of miles of trails throughout the regional trail system. Brookview Heights neighborhood is a short drive or bike ride to Southdale, Galleria, Valley View Middle School and Edina High School.
