The Parklawn Neighborhood of Edina is situated along the east edge of the South Cornelia Neighborhood, within walking distance of Cornelia School and Park, and bordering the 42 acre Fred Richards Park and Lake Edina Parkland. Edina Parklawn offers solely multi-family housing options, including both rental apartments and ownership condominium units. The Edina Parklawn condo complexes were built mainly within the 1960’s and 1970’s, and are affordable at an average price of 150,000. Most complexes offer pools, storage services, and underground parking and are, of course, within the Edina School District boundaries. The Nine Mile Creek Regional Trail runs directly through this area, with direct access off both Parklawn and Gallagher to the trail. In addition, the area offers direct pedestrian connections to Centennial Lakes, the Promenade walking and biking paths, and retail options including Whole Foods of Edina and Centennial Lakes shops.
