Strachauer Park

Offers lush soccer fields, and open space for all ages.

Welcome to Strachauer Park

The Strachauer Park Neighborhood of Edina is located just south of the Chowen Park Neighborhood, and as with so many parts of Edina, was built up with ramblers and 1.5 story homes during the 1950’s and 60’s. Strachauer Park is well served by the park of its namesake, which offers lush soccer fields, hockey rink, warming hut, playground, and open space for all ages and abilities to enjoy. The City of Edina also added new parking bays and a sidewalk along the park to make it more functional. Although you will find more new construction homes generally to the south in Chowen Park and to the west in Pamela Park, there are new offerings from $1,400,000 and above for those looking for more modern accommodations. The Strachauer Park Neighborhood is a great location, just a short drive from the Greater Southdale Area and 50th & France, and well-served by Strachauer Park, Chowen Park, and York Park, each of which offers something different for the park user. A great starter Edina neighborhood where homes can still be found in the $400,000 range!
